Surrey STEM labs

SB Labs have recently completed the University of Surrey’s new EFH (Engineering for Health) Building which will take STEM disciplines at the Universities to a new level. SB Labs have worked closely with Architects Scott Tallon Walker and main contractor Gilbert Ash to provide the facility which is currently part occupied on the first floor with the ground floor laboratories ready for use early in the new year.

SB Labs have supplied and installed Utilaire cantilever benching with Trespa worktops and mobile cabinets along with Safety Stations and Ecoline low velocity solid skin Fume Cupboards. The Architects wanted clean lines and open spaces both above and below bench level, specific architect led details include the flooring being coved around the steel bench support structure and green high gloss laminate to each Safety Station.
