The SB Labs Installation Team, Josh Arnold and Tom Bryksa traveled to Romania for the fitting of the Science Laboratory and Preparation Room at the British International School of Timisoara.

Located in the northern part of the city in a state of the art newly renovated historical building, the campus can accommodate 560 students and is expected to reach its full capacity by 2021.

The new Science Lab benefits from the innovative Mercury system which is a pupil-centred science furniture system with an ovoid shape and integral service consoles that facilitates and promotes interactive group learning.

Additional storage and working surface were provided under the perimeter benching and all worktops were made of Corian, a high specification material that facilitates the unique and compelling, seamlessly jointed moulded service consoles.

Our Mobiline new generation re-circulatory fume cupboard was also part of the project, offering all-round clear viewing and integral storage.
