Kate Willoughby of SB Labs USA supported by Mike Serridge of SB Labs UK attended the recent NCEA Conference and Exhibition which took place in Chicago last month. Kate works extensively with the Independent Schools’ sector in the USA and has supplied and installed as far afield as Hawaii, Las Vegas, Florida, Fort Worth and extensively along the east coast. This annual conference and exhibition provided the opportunity to again hook up with the many SB Labs clients from Catholic Diocese around the USA. A lot of visitors to the stand were developing Makerspaces and were looking for ideas. There was a lot of interest in the Stemline, Saturn & Mercury and in particular in the SpaceStation furniture designs which have been developed to help create multi-use spaces, flexibility of teaching style and in the learning experience and to attract students to a subject which they might not find appealing normally.
