Manchester Communication Academy’s new purpose-built Science Block brings together 11 specialist laboratories, creating an inspiring environment for practical science, experimentation and discovery.
SB Labs worked with Greater Manchester Academies Trust from the earliest design stages, developing the laboratory spaces through detailed layouts, drawings and 3D visualisations before manufacturing the laboratory furniture and fume cupboards at its Manchester facility, just six miles from the Academy.

Following completion of the new laboratories, Andrew Woolley, Chief Operating Officer at Greater Manchester Academies Trust, shared his experience of working with SB Labs throughout the project:
