We are delighted to announce that SB Labs have been awarded the “Specialist Supply Chain Partner”accolade at the Kier Supply Chain Awards 2023.
The award recognises partners who have gone above and beyond to support their projects, and it reflects our outstanding collaboration with Kier Group on the science block project at North Chadderton High School.
North Chadderton is widely acknowledged as one of the borough’s top-performing and oversubscribed schools and our work will significantly improve its educational spaces.
The new science building is an integral part of a broader initiative designed to offer state-of-the-art facilities that cater to the evolving needs of students and will also help to provide much-needed additional school places. These facilities have been meticulously designed to create high-quality learning environments, ensuring the best possible educational experience for the next generation of students.
The project involved the design, manufacture and installation of custom-made furniture and Ecoline fume cupboards for six science laboratories and two preparation rooms.
Fully serviced Crescent-shaped student islands and teacher’s demo desks were designed to meet the high school’s specific requirements and provide students with lab spaces that inspire them.
We take immense pride in our role in this project and anticipate the tangible positive impact that these state-of-the-art laboratories will have on students’ education.
