EXEM C FR Double Bench laboratory installation project

Coventry University Faculty of Health and Life Sciences provides world-class facilities within the new £59million Alison Gingell Building which was opened by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in January 2018.
Part of the original plan was to fit out research laboratories on the 3rd floor of the Alison Gingell Building at a later stage to provide the same world-class working facilities and environment as the original scheme. Coventry University has over recent years invested heavily in capital projects to provide cutting edge facilities for teaching and research, which was the reason that the 3rd-floor project was awarded to SB Labs using Exemplaire C frame system which starts on site early 2019.

SB Labs worked closely with BAM Construction and Broadway Malyan Architects, along with end-user representatives to provide the highest product and finish specification and also satisfy specific end-user requirements. Part of the product evaluation process included Architect and end user representatives visiting SB Labs’s completed CTL Building at the University of Birmingham, which formed part of the reason SB Labs secured the project.

SB Labs provided Exemplaire C frame system with a mix of mobile and fixed under bench cabinets, worktops were Trespa TopLab Plus and the bench mounted overhead service delivery systems were designed to provide a high level of power which was specific to the end users requirements.

To find out more about these furniture systems download the Pdf brochure from the Exemplaire C Framepage or visit our Case Studies page to discover other completed projects.
