Williston Northampton School is a private, coeducational, college-preparatory school located in Easthampton, Massachusetts. It serves students from 7th through 12th grade and offers both day and boarding programs.
With a long history dating back to its founding in 1841, Williston focuses on preparing students for university through innovative programmes and a supportive community that encourages exploration and creativity.
In 2022, the school’s science labs in the Scott Hall building underwent a significant renovation, transforming them into modern learning spaces. This transformation was driven by a vision to develop flexible, collaborative learning environments where students can engage in hands-on STEM education.
The project features six updated science classrooms, two prep rooms, and a storage room, showcasing furniture solutions manufactured by SB Labs and installed by SB Labs USA.
The mobile STEMLine workstations on castors allow for easy reconfiguration of how the space is used, supporting group projects and interactions between students.
The SpaceSaver teaching walls with built-in whiteboards and screens enhance functionality, keeping the learning spaces clutter-free while ensuring that everything is within reach. The installation of an Ecoline fume cupboard provides students with a comprehensive and safe lab experience.
The SB Labs manufacturing plant, showrooms and offices are always open for viewing and a member of staff would be happy to provide a guided tour at any time.
