Baker Hughes

Baker Hughes are one of the world’s largest oilfield service companies operating globally. This project involved the renovation and extension of their existing site in Kirkby, to provide specialist laboratory space, administration areas and conference/training facilities.

SB Labs UK were approached by Bardsley construction to form part of their team to deliver project, having been appointed by Bardsley during the very early stages of the process, SB Labs UK were able to engage directly with the end user groups to design each laboratory area to the varying and unique needs of each department. This required a mixture of ‘fixed pedestal’ furniture, heavy duty ‘Exemplaire C frame’ and over 60 fixed fume cupboards, varying from highly serviced ‘walk-in’ fume units to bench mounted extended width units.
